Graham McNeill is one of Black Library's best writers, not yet in the league of Abnett or Demski Bowden, but I like him personally for False Gids and Fulgrim, which I consider to be two of the best early books, and A Thousand Sons, which in my opinion outclassed Prospero Burns in a dozen areas. I cried a little on the inside when I played Warfighter. The 2010 reboot was decent at best, although nowhere near capable of toppling CoD in any way. It's been quite some time since we've seen a change with Games Workshop's White Dwarf magazine. There have been many who have said that it's quality has dipped considerably in the last few years, and although I agree with them to some extent I believe that this year especially they've been improving.

This game reminds me of why I loved those shapeshifting machines so much in my childhood. Cybertron is in it's dying throes, the Decepticons having utterly trounced the Autobots. It's war on an epic scale with epic themes being portrayed through every cutscene and the valiant natures of the Autobots seen through their dialogue and interactions with their foe.

I certainly don't see why this movie has gotten so much hate online.
In a world dominated by war movies and generic "realistic" modern warfare shooters, it's always hard to distinguish between the genuine and genuinely crap, but in my opinion Act of Valour is a fine movie that isn't made up of gun porn and crazy plots.
